10 alternative names for the tutoring hallway

Recently, Conant students were invited, via Google Forms, to vote on a name for the new academic support hallway, which will contain tutoring and other student services. The link also invited students to submit their own suggestions for the hall, so the Crier staff decided to brainstorm some ideas of our own. We propose the following names for the tutoring hallway:

1. The Learning Corridor
2. Owning My Grades (OMG)
3. Education Station
4. Save Our Brains (SOB)
5. Boulevard of Broken Grades
6. Cougar Corridor
7. Learning Math And Others (LMAO)
8. Academic Avenue
9. The Cougar Brick Road
10. Learning Our Lessons (LOL)

Not only do these names represent the hallway in a way that will resonate with students, but they are catchy and easy to incorporate into conversations. For instance:

“Where are you going? The cafeteria is this way.”
“Yeah, I’ll be there soon, I just have to SOB first. You should join me. The tutors there are so helpful!”

“Hey, do you want to go off campus for lunch today?”
“No thanks, I’m going to the Education Station today. I really need some help with my calculus homework!”
